Many people enjoy time spent having their hair done or having a tan or beauty treament but other than the usual risks you need to be aware of the risks associated with the water used. Most hairdressers use a shower head attachment for washing hair which immediately brings up the risk of Legionella This risk is increased especially as often there is a sink which isn’t used as much as others and the type of customers who come on your premises. Even a small salon needs to be aware of the need to have a Legionella Management plan in place.
